CEO and Founder
Parveen Pathan has a history of business successes in the recruitment industry via Techaxis and a couple of previous recruitment ventures viz. vPlace Inc. and ARC Services.
Through her dedicated nurturing of Techaxis, the company has seen unprecedented growth as Parveen established and led teams both in the United States and India. In addition to taking on the responsibility of company CEO and Founder, Parveen has been a leader, an individual contributor, a collaborator and a motivator all through her journeyin growing the Techaxis name.
Parveen has done this by drawing on her years of industry in the tech field which stems from her work with the large IT Services company, Tech Mahindra and her strong educational background. She has a post-graduate degree in Computer Science from Pune University and studied at one of the most prestigious colleges in India- Fergusson College of Pune.
Aside from her passion for building the Techaxis brand, Parveen’s interests include traveling, reading and spending time with her two lovely daughters.
COO and Partner
At TechAxis, Nandini is responsible for overall delivery operations globally and she also heads the HR and administration functions. Together with her team, her focus lies on taking Techaxis to the next level, ensuring the company evolves into one of the top Executive Search firms in the world.
Nandini has a degree from Fergusson College Pune, holds a Masters in Economics from Pune University and is an alumni of K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research in Mumbai. During her professional pursuits, Nandini has worked with companies such as Standard Chartered Bank, Wipro, Mphasis and EXL.
During her more than 15 years in the corporate sector, Mrs. Phookan has developed a proven track record of success in the executive search realm for some of the world’s top tier IT companies, banking and financial corporations, engineering firms and telecommuting companies from the United States, Europe, India and APAC.
Nandini was the 2008 recipient of the Standard Charter Bank Woman of the Year Award, but her biggest accomplishment in life is her role as a wife and mother of two children.
Director of Account Mgmt
At TechAxis, Michelle is responsible for managing Clients Relations and Account Management function. She oversees delivering quality customer experience to our global clients. Her focus lies on taking Techaxis to the next level, ensuring that the company evolves into one of the top Executive Search and Staffing firms.
During her more than 15 plus years of Recruiting and Account Management experience, Michelle has developed a proven track record of success in the Executive and Staffing search realm for some of the world’s top tier IT companies.
Michelle has a degree in Business from James Madison University and lives in the Washington DC area with her family.
VP Client Services
Mandar currently heads the technical talent acquisition team for Techaxis. His focus is on understanding client needs, managing these strategic client relationships and successfully delivering the best in class talent across various technologies.
He brings more than 25 years of broad experience having worked across several industry sectors such as Automobile, consumer and industrial products, ISP, IT Software Products/Services and IT Staffing and consulting Services. In the past, he has been instrumental in setting up and growing the business operations for a Class A nationwide Internet Service Provider. His other experiences includes establishing and managing strategic alliances and acquiring business in worldwide markets like US, UK, Middle East, South East Asia and Australia for several clients.
In his last assignment, he played a key role in transforming an IT Staffing company to a mature IT Services company by helping set up and grow various Practice Groups within the company like IT Infrastructure Services, SAP Business One Practice, BI and DW practice. He personally led and managed a team of Sales and Recruiting to grow the business exponentially in a short period of 3 years.
He is an avid traveler and spends most of his free time with his family. His credo is to continuously adding new skills through real time learning to keep abreast with the fast changing technology and marketplace.
Vice President of Sales
Matthew currently heads the sales division for TechAxis. In his current role his focus is leading a team of business development and account executives to generate new opportunities to assist organizations with their hiring needs. By identifying real world obstacles in hiring across a diverse set of industries, his team is able to engage new clients and show them the value in having a trusted partner to navigate the challenging job market and identify top talent. The end goal is client satisfaction, which will drive future growth for TechAxis.
In his previous roles, Matthew was a key individual contributor in car sales, educational technology, and hospitality helping multiple organizations reach all-time high revenue numbers. He also brings management experience in transportation, fitness and nutrition, and facilities services. Across a wide variety of industries, he has led winning teams to exceptional growth.
Matthew is an avid golfer and loves to read. His free time is spent with his wife and 3 children, coaching or watching their sporting events or extra curricular activities and travelling to visit family and friends across the US.
Brian is responsible for Sales and Marketing at TechAxis and has been instrumental in rapidly expanding our client footprint of Automation, Network Security, Big Data, and AI-driven software and services companies.
During his 15-year career Brian has been responsible for Sales, Project Management, and Product Marketing with Mobile Streams where he led growth of their North American division through a successful IPO, and at Drop In Media which Brian helped grow from four to 25 employees within 18 months by securing partnerships with leading wireless carriers.
Brian is an economics and statistics subject matter expert with a degree in Economics from VCU where he graduated cum laude in 2002.
In his spare time Brian enjoys staying physically active and playing with his three children.
HR and Operations
At TechAxis, Manali serves as the Head of HR and Operations. Manali works closely with the Founder-CEO in executing HR strategies that aligns with business objectives. She maintains a positive work environment by building strong interpersonal relationships. She brings great passion in problem-solving and delivering quality results. Her responsibilities include: Full cycle Recruiting, Retention, Benefit administration, Account payables and Receivables, Payroll and Expense processing.
Manali graduated from the University of Mumbai, majoring in Accounting and Finance. Since graduation, she has achieved over 10 years of experience in Accounting and HR for firms specializing in IT Consulting and Recruitment.
Manali practises Yoga and you can often find her practicing Bikram Yoga in a fiery room, heated to a perfect temperature of 105 degrees. She fills her spare time, with dancing and creating enjoyable memories with her family.
Head of Delivery
Debakar is a Recruiting Delivery Head based out of our delivery center in India. He brings to Techaxis over 14 years of Talent Acquisition service experience, managing search projects for North America based IT service and software corporations. In his various stints, he has been instrumental in setting up high performance Talent Acquisition teams that have been valued by clients in many a growth story. His belief in getting out of ones comfort zone in order to grow, makes him a tremendously effective and innovative professional in the business. He is passionate about new ideas in social media recruiting and working on building a NextGen Talent Acquisition team for us.
When he realizes that he is browsing LinkedIn, instead of his personal Facebook and InstaGram accounts, he takes a break to spend time with his friends over a few drinks, enjoying sports or an interesting Netflix series or movie!
